Super G YSL / J-4 Qualifier

and SPEEDCAMP

February 5-8, 2009

 

Location: Showdown Ski Area – Neihart, Montana

 

Participants: This event is open to J-5 (10 and younger), J-4 and J-3’s.  This is a qualifying event for the J4 class.  Daily awards will be presented to the top 10 competitors in classes J-4 and younger, and the top 3 finishers in the J3 class.  Any competitors ages 8 and younger will receive an award.  All competitors must be current members of USSA.

 

Events Schedule:     

 

Presentation of Awards: On the deck approximately 45 min. after completion of each day’s event.

 

Entry Deadline: Friday, January 30th, 2009.  USSA Team Entry Forms Only.  Please list men and women separately. 

 

Coaches Tickets: Coaches names and USSA numbers must be submitted with athlete entries.  Coaches are required to be current members of USSA to be eligible for a comp lift ticket.

                                                                      Guest Services area - 3rd Floor Lodge.

Volunteers:  Volunteers are critically needed due to the fact that a J1-3 race is being held simultaneously in Missoula.  If you are interested in helping as gate judges, traffic control, course crew, at the scoreboard, etc. please contact Rick Jacobs at 406-547-3587 (evenings) before February 5th or visit the registration table each race day prior to 8:30 a.m.  Volunteers will receive a lift pass for that workday.

NOTE: We ask all athletes to store any packs or gear along the walls or on the racks supplied on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the lodge.  When not in use, all skis must be placed in the racks provided in front of the lodge or leaned against the building when the racks are full.  Thank you.
