COACHES' MEETING:

Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 am - Great Divide Ski Team Race Chalet.  Bibs will be issued at this time.  Bibs will be collected after Saturday’s races and reissued next day - REMIND YOUR RACERS  Also, remind first run DQ’s and DNF’s to turn in bibs at finish area.  DQ’s and DNF’s first run will run second run.

BIB DEPOSIT:

$50.00/Team and $20.00/Independent

LIFT TICKETS:

Purchase at race headquarters - Great Divide Ski Team Race Chalet: $15.00 per day for all racers 
Coaches' Comp Tickets: 1 for each 10 racers

For parents and non-racers who are attending, please let them know that all of the motels, with the exception of the Fairfield, have a 20% discount card for lift tickets at their front desks. You just need to ask for the discount coupon.

START TIMES:

10:00 a.m. each day - JIV’s will run first, then JVI, JV and JII  

AWARDS: 

We have cancelled the pizza party/banquet that was scheduled for Saturday night.  Depending upon time following Saturday's races, we will try to do awards on the day lodge deck on Saturday afternoon, or, we will do all of the awards on Sunday after the races.

DETAILS:

Racers MUST observe Northern Division code of conduct; pass loss if violated.  Electronic timing, results and disqualifications will be posted at finish line/posting area/lodge.  Protests must be made within 15 minutes after DSQ list is posted.  Protest Fees for DSQ = $50.00.  Ski brakes required for all racers.  Races will be conducted in accordance with current competition manual - TRS Method of Seeding will be used.  

PARKING NOTICE:

Parking will be at the direction of the Ski Area Personnel.  PLEASE RESPECT THE REQUEST OF THE AREA.  Large Ski Team vans and SUV’s will need to park in upper parking lot (to the right as you enter the parking lot area).  Otherwise, if you are traveling in cars, mini vans, etc., please park as tightly as possible in the any of the parking lots, and, car pool, if possible.  This will be a busy weekend and parking will be at a premium.

LIFT TICKET NOTICE:

Lift Tickets must be worn by Racers at all times; otherwise, they will not be able to load on lifts.      

LODGE COURTESY:

The area day lodge has limited space, so please organize and store gear so that tables and walking areas are clear of clothes, etc.

RACE CHALET:

The Great Divide Ski Team Race Chalet will be used exclusively for race administration (up stairs) and race crew (downstairs). The chalet is located between the two lower chair lifts.  The coaches' meeting will be held in the upstairs of the chalet and coaches are welcome to use this space during the day, but just no athletes.
