Team Rules
Members of USSA Northern Division Teams, attending competitions on the USSA/Northern Division quota, traveling with or as part of a competition trip organized by the USSA Northern Division, or attending any training camp or project as part of a Northern Division Group, are required to fully abide by the USSA Code of Conduct.
Additionally, team members:
Violations of these rules may result in suspension from the team, project, camp, or current competition and in loss of the opportunity to participate in future teams and or projects. Athletes can be sent home.
Agreement
I, the undersigned USSA competitor, have reviewed these rules and the “Rules for Northern Division Quota Team Travel and Competition” and the “USSA Code of Conduct” as printed in the USSA Alpine Competition Guide and the web site, and agree to abide by all applicable rules and procedures in my participation in any divisional training or competition project during the current season.
I realize and agree that a violation of the rules may result in my immediate suspension from a team, and in the loss of all team services including representation at Team Captains’ and Jury meetings, training, housing, meals, transportation, or any other service associated with being part of that quota team or project member. I realize and agree that I will receive no refund for the unused portion of these services. I realize and agree that should I be suspended, I will be prepared to make whatever arrangements are necessary in order to return home or continue to compete in the immediate event, should that be permitted. I realize, acknowledge, and agree that a possible penalty of conduct violations during a camp, project or competition is complete suspension from the event being attended and that further disciplinary actions may be undertaken according to the provisions of the USSA Code of Conduct and the USOC Amateur Sports Act.
I realize and agree that actions which are violations of the law may result in my arrest, and that it will be my responsibility in such a case to notify my parents or legal guardians and/or to make such arrangements as may be necessary for my release and return home. This agreement shall be valid for all projects in the 2007-2008 training and competition season.
