Camp Price:

$600.   

This includes five days of skiing, ski tickets, coaching, daily activity, lesson, and lunch (Mon – Fri).  This is based on 20 athletes attending the camp.  Cost could end up being lower (or higher) depending on how many attend.  

A $150 deposit is required to reserve your spot for the camp by Oct. 1 as well as an email with your contact information.  Deposit check should be payable to "MSEF” and sent to:

Lodging:

On your own.  We have a group rates at the Douglas Fir Resort & Chalets (www.douglasfir.com OR 1-800-661-9267).  Group rates are under “MISS”.

• One - Bedroom Loft Condo (sleeps 6) – $1,225.70 plus tax
• One - Bedroom Condo (sleeps 4) – $898.45 plus tax

We will be going to Banff, Alberta for our 2nd annual Fall Thanksgiving Ski Racing Camp.  Last year we had a great time and anticipate to have even more fun this year!  The parents also had a great vacation (skiing, shopping, sightseeing, hiking, etc.)  We will ski for five days (2 sessions per day) focusing on racing fundamentals and spend some time with GS and SL tactics as well.  There will also be an additional team activity every day (i.e. Hike, Football/Soccer game, strategy games, etc.).  Video analysis and daily lecture will also be held every day after skiing.  

We will have a Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday night.  Last year we found a nice restaurant that catered a special Thanksgiving style dinner for our whole team.  The food was GREAT and I hope to secure the same reservations again!

On Saturday November 29 there is a World Cup Men's Downhill at Lake Louise (about 45 minutes from Banff).  Everybody is encouraged to attend!  We had a great time last year at this race as many of the kids were busy receiving autographs, swag, racing bibs, talking with racers, etc.  Attendance to the World Cup is obviously FREE.
